what we believe
1. Since we accept the Bible as the true Word of God, we base all our beliefs on what we feel is an honest and careful interpretation of what is stated in scripture.
2. We are convinced that God is love and that He exists (beyond our understanding) in three beings: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. Our faith is based on Jesus Christ who was and is the only Son of God, who came to earth in human form as the Living Word in order to declare the love of God and provide a way for humans to respond to His love.
4. We rely on the Holy Spirit who is still involved in the Church today, so that we can “feel” and experience the presence of God and become spiritually alive in Christ.
5. We have no doubt that anyone can have a relationship with God that is life-changing. We believe the Bible teaches that Christians are not perfect but should become more Christ-like as they grow in unselfish discipline. However, we do not believe that we can earn or do anything to merit God’s love or favor, since they are His gift to humanity.
6. Our position is that the Church, exists to worship and serve God, encourage and develop believers, and reach-out and minister to those seeking truth.
